Getting The Beast ready for the cross-country trek to Metropolis, Illinois for the celebration of the life of Noel Neill is proceeding.
Today was spent cleaning the stove top area, refrigerator, the cab over bed area and the bathroom.
Then, the mailman arrived with the replacement screen door latch from Lichtsinn RV and it took me only five minutes to install and properly align it. Now that's all repaired! It is necessary for me to have a secure screen door as I will likely be bringing my cat Sierra along on the trip.
The next thing to do is to have The Beast checked out (including an oil change) for the trip.
