The latest from the National Weather Service:
A vigorous upper low will produce widespread heavy snowfall across the Four Corners region into the southern Rockies on New Year's Day, while well below average temperatures will be common from the West into the Plains and Upper Midwest. The remainder of the week will be wet across the southern tier of the country with frozen precipitation in the southern Plains and heavy rain in the South.
Well, I'm in the Four Corners region, so we'll be getting more of the white stuff.
