Not that it really matters since travelers cannot enter Japan as yet, but since we're in a new month, it is time to take a little peek at how the U.S. dollar is doing against the Japanese yen in Tokyo trading.
According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, Dec. 2 (Jiji Press)--The dollar firmed above 104.50 yen in Tokyo trading late Wednesday, as news regarding a coronavirus vaccine brightened the market mood.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 104.56-56 yen, up from 104.33-33 yen at the same time on Tuesday.
