Light Dusting (So Far)

The first of two storms has arrived and, so far, it has only produced a light dusting of snow.

According to the National Weather Service, both storms are expected to dump two inches of snow each. We shall see. But, high winds will accompany the storms

Here's the latest National Weather Service forecast:

Today
Scattered snow showers between 8am and 2pm, then snow likely after 2pm. Areas of blowing snow after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 31. Windy, with a southwest wind 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Tonight
Snow. Low around 14. Windy, with a southwest wind 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.
Wednesday
A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 22. Wind chill values as low as -3. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Wednesday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 0. Wind chill values as low as -9. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
