The Case of the Superman Crew Member

Above, the fellow second from right in the background may be a friend's wife's grandfather.

The above photo, I am guessing it's from 1951, showing the film crew of the Adventures of Superman, caught the attention of a friend's wife when I reposted a two-year-old Facebook "Memories" post yesterday.

One of the crew members may have been her grandfather, who was a cameraman for the show.

He asked:

Do you remember where this photo you just today reposted from 2 years ago came from? [My wife] thinks one of the men might be her dad's dad, who was a cameraman on the Superman show. (The guy in the back in white hat by the guy in the safari hat.)

I don't remember where the photo I posted came from. (It's been two years.)

Anyone out there have any idea the origin of the photo and details? Thanks!

It's a behind-the-scenes shot taken during filming of SUPERMAN AND THE MOLE MEN. 1951

That seems to be the general consensus. I don't remember where the photo came from. Thanks, Mike.
