Finally, after almost a month in the body shop, I have the Mustang back and all repaired.
I managed to crunch the driver side fender and door on a building column (got a little to close). This is what made me take it in. But I also had some old damage repaired (the hood was damaged from a fallen tree limb) that I had put off doing.
So now The Beast can get a bit of a rest. It came in handy as a "second vehicle" while the Mustang was repaired.
There is one item that still needs to be fixed. It is the accelerator/cruise control cable. My mechanic could not find a replacement one, so he "Mickey Moused" the old one so the car can be driven. But I found one at a salvage yard in Georgia who specializes in Fox Body Mustangs. As soon as it arrives, I'll have it installed.
