The "Pity Party" of Michelle Lujan Grisham

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham speaks with forked tongue, me thinks.

USA Today has posted an article on New Mexico's governor and here are some snippets:
The governor of New Mexico took to Twitter on Tuesday and criticized a wave of "Second Amendment Sanctuary" resolutions passed by counties across the state.
Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, criticized the movement in a series of Tweets: "A few law enforcement officers in this state have been making noise about how they won’t enforce gun safety measures because they don’t like them. That’s not how laws work, of course, and it’s not how oaths of office work either."
Grisham wrote she would continue to advocate for gun reforms, despite "NRA propaganda, rogue sheriffs throwing a childish pity party or bad-faith critics."
House Minority Leader Jim Townsend, R-Artesia, said Grisham's comments incorrectly minimized the opposition to the legislation: “Thousands across New Mexico are filling county commission meetings to stand against her bills, I guess they’re ‘rogue’ too."
So, standing up for one's constitutional rights is a "pity party"? What NRA propaganda? There has been no NRA propaganda involved. Grisham and the Democrat Party essentially "kicked a hornets nest" and riled up the New Mexico citizenry. Instead of being conciliatory, she hurls insults.

"Not how laws work"? We'll remember that as you and your party considers making New Mexico a "sanctuary state" on immigration!

"A few law enforcement officers" who are "rogues"? C'mon, Governor, let's be honest. 30 elected county sheriffs out of 33 are steadfastly opposed to your gun control bills. 24 county Boards of Commissioners (to date) have passed resolutions declaring their county a "Second Amendment Sanctuary County". That's more than a majority in both categories.

"Bad faith critics"? To whom are you referring to? The only "bad faith" involved in all of this are you and your cohorts in Santa Fe being beholden to the wallets of outsider radical liberal millionaires Michael Bloomberg and George Soros. You are listening to their cash (along with your leftist dogma) and not to the citizens. That's why people are up in arms.

She's the governor of Soros and Bloomberg.

You should start listening to the citizens instead of posting Twitter rants and feeling sorry for yourself. You brought this upon yourself unnecesarily. You've already squandered your political "honeymoon" with this and your action in removing the national guard from the southern border. Small wonder over 60,000 people have signed an online petition calling for your impeachment. Without any proof, you claim that signers were from outside of New Mexico. (You need to stop believing your own fairy tails.)

UPDATE (3/2/19):

The Governor says that gun registration had been deemed constitutional. My check of past U.S. Supreme Court decisions indicate that's not the case.

Ammoland.com posted:
Arizona -(Ammoland.com)- Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico claims that background checks are Constitutional. In the Heller decision, Justice Scalia wrote that regulation of commercial sales was deemed Constitutional. The regulation of private sales has not been reviewed by the Supreme Court, to my knowledge. The Supreme Court has ruled the federal government cannot force the states to conduct background checks, at least, not without paying for them. It seems unlikely a state could require the federal government to conduct background checks for that were not required under federal law.

Any time an elected official, Servant of THE PEOPLE, terms defense of the constitution Rogue. Refers to people who oppose as non residents. There's a red flag or two.
She certainly is not listening to nor representing WE THE PEOPLE. She certainly is not governing. She intends to Rule.
Michelle Luhan Grisham, you will soon understand. WE THE PEOPLE, as Residents of New Mexico, will not, take this sitting down. Your conduct of exemplary unproffessionalism speaks quite clearly and loudly. Good day to you ma'am.
