Better Late Than Never!  Governor Lujan Grisham Endorses Gas Tax Suspension Proposed by Rep. Herrell

NEW MEXICO - Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has joined several other governors in writing a letter to congressional leaders, urging them suspend gas taxes in light of skyrocketing prices under the Biden administration. This comes one year after Rep. Yvette Herrell introduced the PUMP Act, legislation which would have suspended the federal gas tax.  "I am glad that Governor Lujan Grisham is coming around to suspending the gas tax, one year after I introduced the PUMP Act to do exactly that." said Rep. Herrell.
