Maybe About 1 1/2 Inches At Most

Above, what's left of today's snow on the deck this evening. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Today's snow storm may have been widespread (covering several states), but it left about an inch to an inch and a half of snow on the ground in Jamestown. Much of it has already melted away. The snow in October was thicker.

There may be some scattered snow showers overnight and some tomorrow afternoon.

From the National Weather Service:

Tonight
Isolated snow showers after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15. West wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tuesday
Isolated snow showers after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28. West wind 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Generally, during the past several years, the biggest snow storm usually shows up around New Year's. So we got that to look forward to.

However, the daytime high temperatures for the rest of the week are going to be on the frigid side:

Wednesday
Sunny, with a high near 32. Wind chill values as low as -3. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
Wednesday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 8. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday
Sunny, with a high near 33.
Thursday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 11.
Friday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 35.
Friday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 9.
Saturday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 37.
Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 14.
Sunday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 37.
Sunday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 18.
Monday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 37.
