Winter Weather Advisory

So far, we haven't had any snow this morning. But that's all about to change at around 9:00 this morning (according to The Weather Channel).

I have a package waiting for me at the post office. Depending how strong the morning's snow is, I may have to let it sit there for a while. 

We are now under a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service:

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 3
  inches. Higher totals near 5 inches possible across the higher
  terrain. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph creating areas of blowing
  snow with reduced visibility.

* WHERE...Western Mountains, West Central Plateau, and San Francisco
  River Valley.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on snow packed or icy road
  conditions. This includes portions of I-40 from the Arizona border
  to the Continental Divide. The hazardous conditions could impact
  the Monday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. For the latest road

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
