Before the pandemic hit nearly three years ago, I was considering a vacation trip to Japan. I was last there in October 2015.
But the pandemic changed all that and Japan shut its doors to foreign visitors.
Finally, Japan has reopened to foreign visitors. Apparently, much has changed over the past two years and Travel + Leisure has posted an article by Brandon Presser on what changes he saw there.
The article begins with:
After living in Tokyo as a student and young professional, I’ve made visiting Japan a priority at least once a year since, deep-diving new and interesting themes and destinations as the country continues to evolve both with and against the rising tide of globalization.
