...A SERIES OF PACIFIC DISTURBANCES TO IMPACT NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO BEGINNING LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...

A series of Pacific disturbances will impact the area beginning
Saturday night. The first one will bring showers to western NM,
with lowering snow levels and the potential for significant
accumulation in the mountains along and west of the Continental
Divide Saturday night through Sunday. This disturbance will also
bring strong winds to areas along and east of the central mountain
chain on Sunday, especially to Lincoln and Chaves Counties where
gusts to 60 mph are possible. The second disturbance will begin
impacting the area late Monday and move slowly eastward across
the region into Wednesday, bringing colder temperatures, lowering
snow levels and the potential for more widespread snow. Yet
another system may impact the region on Friday of next week.

Remain tuned into the latest weather forecast and statements at
weather.gov/abq or through your preferred media outlet.
