After the last chance of rain and snow in Jamestown, New Mexico fizzled out, I am considering today's forecast a matter of, "I'll believe it when I see it."

The National Weather Service forecasts a 40% chance of rain and snow today. We shall see.

Here's the forecast:

Overnight
A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Southeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Friday
A chance of rain and snow before 10am, then a slight chance of rain between 10am and 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Friday Night

Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.
