Classic Rock Music Monday

The stuff that now passes as "music", particularly rock 'n roll, leaves me cold. So, to start off the week, here's a video of a classic rock artist.

To start the last week in November (gee, it seems like it just started) we have The Outlaws with their cover of "(Ghost) Riders In The Sky" from 1980. The song has been covered by many artists over the years, most notably by Vaughn Monroe and Johnny Cash. But this version has always been my favorite.

Although The Outlaws have undergone many personnel changes over the years, they are still an active band.

From Wikipedia:

Outlaws is an American Southern rock band from Tampa, Florida. They are best known for their 1975 hit "There Goes Another Love Song" and extended guitar jam "Green Grass and High Tides" from their 1975 debut album, plus their 1980 cover of the Stan Jones classic " Riders in the Sky".
