A Mississippi Democrat wants to outlaw masturbation to "hold men accountable" for abortions.

The Gateway Pundit reported:

A bill put forward by a Mississippi Democrat is essentially seeking to outlaw masturbation.

Democrat State Sen. Bradford Blackmon this week introduced the “Contraception Begins at Erection Act,” which would prevent men from masturbating or engaging in sexual activity when there is no “intent to fertilize an embryo.”

The legislation put forward this week proposes fines of $1,000 for a first offense, $5,000 for a second, and $10,000 for subsequent violations.

Blackmon, a first-term senator representing a district north of Jackson, is apparently seeking to hold men accountable for their role in women having abortions.

One has to wonder how such a law is to be enforced. Put a meter on every man's you-know-what?

Gov. Lujan Grisham Whines Over "Murderer" Label

The Democrat Party has embraced abortion, sometimes with such glee they are often referred to as the "Party of Death". So when they are called out on their position on it, they scream like gut pigs.

The latest is New Mexico Gov. Michelle "The Groper" Lujan Grisham whining over being called a "murderer" by State Rep. John Block (R-Alamogordo) on Twitter. Well, in her case, "if the shoe fits, wear it" (as in Cinderella).

According to the Piñon Post (of which Block is editor and founder):

State Rep. John Block (R-Alamogordo) recently took to Twitter to characterize Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s comments supporting abortion up-to-birth as the governor being a “murderer.”

Following the tweet, Lujan Grisham’s office played the victim, telling the Santa Fe New Mexican, “Comments like these absolutely have the potential to incite violence, including to the governor, her family and colleagues.”

It is unclear how she equates being called a “murderer” to “inciting violence,” but she is well-known for name-calling of her own. 

She told New Mexico sheriffs who were unhappy with her anti-gun laws that they were “rogue sheriffs” having a “childish pity party,” and she called her political opponents “QAnon lizard people.”

It is obvious that the governor can dish it out but can't take it.

Piñon Post Recap of Last Night's NM Gubernatorial Debate

Last night's debate between Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and Mark Ronchetti was one fiery debate.

John Block of Piñon Post has posted a good recap of the debate.

He begins it with:

On Wednesday night, Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and Republican nominee Mark Ronchetti met on KOAT 7 for the second gubernatorial debate, moderated by the station’s Doug Fernandez. KOAT’s Kelly Ribando, the Albuquerque Journal’s Dan Boyd, and KKOB radio’s Bob Clark as panelists.

During the fiery debate, the two candidates presented their plans for New Mexico — the current one or a new vision for the state.

While Ronchetti continued speaking about kitchen table issues, such as violent crime, with New Mexico being the second most violent state in the nation, and fixing the stagnant economy, Lujan Grisham couldn’t shake her obsession with talking about abortion.

In her opening statement, she erroneously claimed, “My opponent wants to ban abortion,” despite Ronchetti wanting a constitutional amendment to decide the issue, as he has previously stated. Lujan Grisham continued, “As governor, I promise to protect your privacy protections and to expand access to reproductive health care (abortions) for women and their families.” 

Continuing on abortion, Lujan Grisham reaffirmed that she supports abortion up to birth with absolutely no restrictions whatsoever.

Tonight's New Mexico Gubernatorial Debate

Watching Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham during tonight's debate reminded me a lot of: 

Are you going to believe what you see or what I tell you?

There was a lot of that, along with obfuscation and gaslighting, by Lujan Grisham. She's saying that New Mexico is doing great, but people know better (or at least they should).

Mark Ronchetti hammered Lujan Grisham on several issues. Unfortunately, I think he may have overdid the governor's sexual harassment settlement issue that led to a $150,000 settlement with a former staffer. She, of course, tried to play herself off as the victim in the matter, which is laughable. Later, she tried to play Jeopardy with a question to Ronchetti on an abortion drug.

She was a broken record in trying to turn everything into abortion or Ronchetti's lack of government experience. If her 30-year experience in government is so great, why is she screwing up the state?

She bristled at one point and interrupted Ronchetti during his answer time. She also got upset over how a question on the newly closed San Juan power plant was asked. The woman struggled to keep her cool.

Lujan Grisham did not look at all like a confident incumbent. Ronchetti looked and acted more confident. Due to the time constraints by the moderator, both seemed rushed during their responses and had to talk fast. Ronchetti's television experience served him well when responding to the questions. Lujan Grisham stumbled several times. 

Anyway, it was an entertaining hour. 

G-FEST Grumblings

A surprising thing came to light while I was perusing Facebook on posts concerning COVID-19 popping up at G-FEST last weekend.

I didn't attend as I have a guest coming over for a visit next week, which includes some travel while she's here. The funds at present are finite.

A post was left by Sean McGuinness that stated J. D. Lees wasn't attending the convention this year as he refuses to get vaccinated in order to cross the U.S.-Canadian border. This was the first I heard of this. I was wondering why there there were no photos of J. D. at the convention. Now I know. That was a surprise to me! 

Here's the post:

This is from the G-FEST program book. JD Lees, the originator of G-Fest, will not attend his own convention because he refuses to get the vaccine to cross the Canadian border.

He has done "considerable research" and fails to provide any sources for that research. He says "his body his choice" as every woman in the United States has had their choice stripped away from them.

He talks about "societal divisions" are symbolic of these times and have caused harm to families, referring to discussion of the pandemic. Just like when the official G-Fest Twitter account would make light of COVID, claim it's mostly a foreign problem, a disease which would kill over one million Americans.

He wants to encourage us to put aside such divisions, such as when the official G-Fest Twitter account would block any and all concerns about how it was spreading deadly misinformation. We gather at G-Fest for our love of Science Fiction, and apparently Science Fact has no place there.

If necessary, we should "turn the other cheek", but the guests, artists and fans who were blocked by the G-Fest Twitter account are still blocked, no cheek turned. I expect this to be the G-Fest response to artists being refused entry to sell their legally protected fan art and the money they lose out on, as well as if they ever drop the "no mass produced fan art" rule that exists in no convention in the United States, except here.

We should keep our commitment and passions burning like the "Cherenkov Light", a radiation that is of Russian origin. Russia is currently invading Ukraine and torturing, raping and killing its citizens, men, women and children. Maybe he refers to the Monsterverse Godzilla and his blue glow, but Monsterverse guests are mysteriously absent from multiple G-Fests, but they are showing up at All Monsters Attack Expo in September.

I present these facts without opinion, I present them as facts with facts.

I haven't read the referenced program book, so I can't vouch for what was said or the accuracy of McGuinness's post.

Well, I don't think that J. D. has any obligation to anybody to provide his sources he used in his coronavirus research in making his decision. I am sure it was a tough decision for him to make. 

As for the "his body his choice" dig, McGuinness is mistaken that women had their "choice stripped from them" by the U.S. Supreme Court. They just ruled that there's no constitutional right on the federal level for abortions and ruled that it was for the states to decide. Women can still get abortions, they just have to go to a state that legally allows them or have their state change their laws if they don't. 

I disagree with J. D. on not getting vaccinated. I have been vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine (two shots) and two boosters. I experienced no ill effects except soreness at the injection sites. I was not about to take chances since I have two stents in a coronary artery. Even those who are fully vaccinated can still get the virus, the vaccine only lessens the severity. Still, that was his own personal decision.

On the fan art matter, since I haven't spoken to J. D. on the restrictions, I suspect that Toho Co. had a hand in this since Godzilla and related characters are their trademarked property. Historically, whenever occurrences like this had happened before, I was due to a Toho demand. J. D. would not pull the rug out from anybody unless he was forced to by Toho. 

As far as the G-FEST Twitter matter is concerned, I haven't seen any such postings and McGuinness didn't quote any. 

Frankly, I am not at all surprised that COVID reared its ugly head at G-FEST. People came from all corners of the country and world. A friend in the UFO research community told me last week that at a recent meeting/gathering, COVID was spread among the attendees. 

Could this be a new variant? G-Variant? I had a feeling this may happen at G-FEST. 

Apparently, it did.

About 17 Democrat members of congress were arrested the other day when they held a protest at the Supreme Court.

One of them, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez was photographed being led away by police supposedly handcuffed.

A closer look reveals that she was not handcuffed.

"Camping" A New Code Word For Abortion

The lunacy of the far Left knows no bounds.

The Democrats in New York are introducing legislation to try to circumvent the recent Supreme Court ruling on constitutional carry of guns. 

Now, our favorite mode of vacationing, camping, is being used as a code word for abortion! Do you think that's crazy? Well, it is. But it isn't the first time an innocent word was perverted to mean something else. The word "gay" is a perfect example. 

Now the word "camping" the victim.

RVers and all camping enthusiasts may think their favorite pastime is far removed from the country’s heated debate over abortion access, but that isn’t necessarily so.

Online social media posts offering to take people “camping” have suddenly become coded language for those supposedly offering aid to pregnant women seeking abortions who may live in states that ban the procedure. The posts include offers of transportation or out-of-state housing.

You might wonder how in the world a seemingly innocuous word like camping now finds itself being bandied about the internet by those in the forefront of the contentious abortion debate. It seems using a “code word” like camping instead of the word abortion is an effort to avoid algorithmic censorship on social media, and even potential detection by law enforcement agencies.

It all sounds so silly until you consider the potential fallout from abortion rights advocates using “camping” as a code word to avoid detection.

Roe vs. Wade Meltdown

Since the overturning of Roe vs. Wade, I've been seeing videos and photos of some of the so-called (or arguably) female protesters.

By the looks of many of them, the need for an abortion should be not necessary as it would be doubtful any self-respecting male would want to even touch them, not to mention even getting them pregnant. As Rodney Dangerfield would say, they're too ugly.

Roe vs. Wade Overturning Reactions

 

It is interesting to see some reactions to the Supreme Court's decision on abortion by overturning Roe vs. Wade.

I decided to post some that I just saw on Twitter.

Here's some of them:

Sen. Ted Cruz: The Supreme Court’s decision in the Dobbs case, reversing Roe v. Wade, is nothing short of a massive victory for life, and it will save the lives of millions of innocent babies.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham: The moment we have long dreaded has arrived, and our nation will be the worse for it. This ruling will destroy both lives and livelihoods. Make no mistake: the effort is not to protect life but to diminish it, to control women and relegate them as second-class citizens.

SCOTUS Overturns Roe vs. Wade

Well, it has just been announced that the U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe vs. Wade.

As commentator Larry Elder would say, "The fit's gonna hit the shan!"

To me, the decision is more of a modification rather than a outright overturn.

The Supreme Court on Friday overturned Roe v. Wade, effectively ending recognition of a constitutional right to abortion and giving individual states the power to allow, limit, or ban the practice altogether.

The ruling came in the court's opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which centered on a Mississippi law that banned abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The Republican-led state of Mississippi asked the Supreme Court to strike down a lower court ruling that stopped the 15-week abortion ban from taking place.

It will be interesting to see the protests over this ruling.

Newsom To Use Texas Abortion Decision To Go After Guns

If you thought that the defeat of the recall of California Gov. Gavin Newsom doesn't have ramifications, think again.

Now he's trying to use a Texas abortion law decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to go after people's guns and gun rights.

In responding to the U.S. Supreme Court decision allowing the Texas abortion ban to stay in place, California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Saturday said he plans to propose a gun control law that would be modeled on the Texas one.

Newsom said the Supreme Court’s decision has set a precedent that will allow states to avoid federal courts when enacting laws. 

The Texas law allows private citizens to sue anyone who helps a woman get an abortion after a fetal heartbeat can be detected. 

"I am outraged by yesterday’s U.S. Supreme Court decision allowing Texas’s ban on most abortion services to remain in place," Newsom wrote in a statement Saturday. "But if states can now shield their laws from review by the federal courts that compare assault weapons to Swiss Army knives, then California will use that authority to protect people’s lives, where Texas used it to put women in harm’s way."

Now, he's working with the state's attorney general and legislature to draft a bill that would allow private citizens to sue those who manufacture, distribute or sell an assault weapon or ghost gun kit.

He fails to recognize that gun ownership is a constitutional right, abortion isn't.

Coronavirus or No Coronavirus, Culture Wars Continue

Things may be vastly different these days, but there's one thing that isn't different from before the outbreak of coronavirus, is the partisan culture wars.

According to Voice of America:

WASHINGTON - A partisan fight over voting in Wisconsin was the first issue linked to the coronavirus  to make it to the Supreme Court. Efforts to limit abortion during the pandemic could eventually land in the justices' hands. Disputes over guns and religious freedom also are popping up around the country. 

The virus outbreak has put much of American life on hold, but the nation's culture wars seem immune from the pandemic. 

And in a country deeply divided over politics, some liberals are accusing conservatives of using this crisis to advance long-held goals, especially in the areas of access to abortion and the ballot box. Conservatives have complained about restrictions on church services and gun shops.  

"We see the right as being very opportunistic to advance their agenda," said Marge Baker, executive vice president of the liberal People for the American Way. 

‘Knee-jerk response’ 

Tim Schmidt, founder and president of the gun-rights U.S. Concealed Carry Association, called restrictions on gun sales "a knee-jerk response to something we don't quite understand. I hope and pray it doesn't happen but that's what I fear," he said in a recent online forum. 

Gun stores targeted

Abortion clinics aren't the only places that states have sought to close during the pandemic. Gun stores, too, have been targeted. Most states have deemed gun sellers essential businesses allowed to remain open during the emergency. But three states — Massachusetts, New Mexico and Washington — forced those businesses to close. 

Gun rights groups have gone to court to pressure New Jersey's Democratic governor, Phil Murphy, and local officials in North Carolina to reverse course on gun restrictions. Other lawsuits are pending in California. 

Joe Bartozzi, president and CEO of the National Sports Shooting Foundation, said closing the stores is the wrong answer. "You don't want to, in a time of crisis, be suspending civil liberties," Bartozzi said.

Why The Push Against Abortions?

Why are some state legislatures putting limits, some very strict limits, on abortions?

Website FiveThirtyEight gives three reasons, and they preface them with:

Republicans have long sought to limit abortion, both at the state and national level. But abortion opponents have stepped up their efforts in 2019, according to advocates on both sides of the issue. Alabama this week enacted a law that bans all abortions except to save a woman’s life. There would be no exceptions for pregnancies caused by incest or rape, and conducting an abortion could result in a prison sentence of up to 99 years. Four other states — Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi and Ohio — have adopted laws that ban abortions after a fetal heartbeat can be detected, which can be as early as six weeks into a pregnancy. 

What’s behind this latest push? There have been three important shifts in U.S. politics.

The reasons they give are:

1. Brett Kavanaugh's appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court. 

2. The rise of one-party rule states. 

3. Republicans aren't worried of a backlash.

But they completely missed one other important development: legalized infanticide.

National Review wrote:

Democrats are increasingly explicit in their support for killing unborn children at any stage of pregnancy — and sometimes even of denying normal medical care to born children. 

In New York state, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a law that makes abortion legal, even after the unborn child is viable, so long as the abortionist makes a “reasonable and good-faith judgment” that abortion will protect the pregnant woman’s health. In Rhode Island, Governor Gina Raimondo has pledged to sign legislation that also makes abortion legal after viability to “preserve . . . health.” In Virginia, state legislator Kathy Tran has introduced legislation that would, she has explained, make abortion legal even at term and in the middle of birth.

These stories in the news caused a backlash by people who are totally repelled by infanticide, no matter what excuse is given. Those actions have fired up the anti-abortionists so much that they are scoring anti-abortion legislative wins. In a nutshell: The pro-abortionists simply overstepped. No wonder Republicans aren't worried.

Pro-choice activists are beside themselves over these limitations. But they only have themselves to blame by going into the infanticide extremes. They brought this onto themselves. Eventually, all passed laws will be decided in the Supreme Court, which is what many states passing legislation actually want.

Democrats Made Their Own Infanticide, Socialist and Anti-Semite Labels

When the Democrats are called out for what they are, they and their media lackeys just can't stand it.

For weeks, Democrats such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Bernie Sanders and many others came "out of the closet" and proclaimed their socialism and others, such as Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam among many, have supported late-term abortions as well as infanticide after "botched" abortions. Senate Democrats defeated a bill that would allow for medical aid for babies born alive after such botched abortions.

Some Democrats have been openly hostile to the state of Israel and Jews in particular.

The New York Times whined:

WASHINGTON — In the 116th Congress, if you’re a Democrat, you’re either a socialist, a baby killer or an anti-Semite. 

That, at least, is what Republicans want voters to think, as they seek to demonize Democrats well in advance of the 2020 elections by painting them as left-wing crazies who will destroy the American economy, murder newborn babies and turn a blind eye to bigotry against Jews. 

The unusually aggressive assault, which Republican officials and strategists outlined in interviews last week, is meant to strangle the new Democratic majority in its infancy. It was set in motion this month by President Trump, who used his State of the Union address to rail against “new calls to adopt socialism in our country” and mischaracterize legislation backed by Democrats in New York and Virginia as allowing “a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth.” 

Then last week, Republicans amped it up, seizing on a Twitter post by a freshman representative, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, which even some Democrats condemned as anti-Semitic, and ridiculing the “Green New Deal,” an ambitious economic stimulus plan unveiled by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a self-described democratic socialist. Suddenly even Jewish Democrats were abetting anti-Semitism and moderate Democrats in Republican districts were Trotskyites and Stalinists.

They can't handle it because the Republican attacks are all true! If the shoe fits, wear it! They moved to the far-left since Trump's election.

Now they're complaining, but the funny part of all of this is that they brought it all upon themselves!

The Gaslighting of America

Gaslighting is a tactic in which a person or entity, in order to gain more power, makes a victim question their reality. It works much better than you may think. Anyone is susceptible to gaslighting, and it is a common technique of abusers, dictators, narcissists, and cult leaders. It is done slowly, so the victim doesn't realize how much they've been brainwashed. For example, in the movie Gaslight (1944), a man manipulates his wife to the point where she thinks she is losing her mind. - Psychology Today.

It is becoming more and more obvious (except to liberal journalists) that some in the media and Democrat politicians are "gaslighting" Americans in their news stories and public statements.

Over at The Federalist, David Harsanyi noted:

In the past week, I’ve noticed a number of Democrats and liberal journalists refusing to concede inconvenient facts. 

No matter how many times, for instance, you quote the plain language of the Virginia or New York abortion bills, they won’t acknowledge that both legalize the procedure until the moment of birth for virtually any reason. No matter how many times you show them language in those bills that protect doctors who terminate babies who are born alive from prosecution, they shake their heads as if you’re indulging in some right-wing conspiracy theory. No matter how many times you provide them with data that shows more than 15,000 abortions of viable babies being performed every year––most, if not all, having nothing to do with “saving the mother’s life”––they say “no.” (I’ve experienced it personally.) 

The same game is being played with the Green New Deal proposal. 

“I really don’t like their policy of taking away your car, of taking away your airplane rights, of let’s hop a train to California, of you’re not allowed to own cows anymore,” Trump said in the El Paso speech. White House Bureau Chief at The Washington Post Philip Rucker let his 340,000 followers on Twitter know that this was “false” and that “no one” had proposed any such thing. David Weigel, another well-read political reporter at The Post, who had earlier co-bylined a piece with the misleading headline “Ocasio-Cortez retracts erroneous information about Green New Deal,” retweeted Rucker’s falsehood to his 450,000 followers. 

First of all, even if Ocasio-Cortez did walk back her pitch, it was proposed. This might be inconvenient, but it’s also indisputable. Simply because a politician pulls a proposal that’s been dragged across the entire internet and beaten senseless does not mean its existence has been expunged from the record. 

The authors of the Green New Deal were very clear that their plan was a “massive transformation of our society” with “clear goals and a timeline.” Those goals included eliminating “combustion engines” and air travel and beef. It was the bill’s authors who wrote about “economic security” for those who are “unwilling to work.” They simply hadn’t come up with all the nuts and bolts yet. And, yes, a bunch of presidential candidates endorsed these ideas, while the FAQ was up.

Yes, the media and Democrats are trying to pull the wool over our eyes. But thanks to some honest journalists and The Wayback Machine, the truth is coming out and showing that those liberal journalists and Democrats are trying to gaslight us. Even I was able to notice it, after having dealt with a gaslighting narcissist a few years ago.

Why There's An Abortion Uproar

VIRGINIA, January 30, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – A Virginia House Delegate has proposed legislation that would allow abortions up until the moment of birth.   

In a shocking exchange during a subcommittee hearing about the bill, the bill’s chief proponent hesitantly admitted that the measure would permit aborting children even as a mother has begun dilating in preparation to give birth.     

Delegate Kathy Tran, a Democrat from Northern Virginia, was asked, “How late in the third trimester could a physician perform an abortion?”  

Tran replied, “through the third trimester.  The third trimester goes all the way up to forty weeks...I don't think we have a limit in the bill.” 

“Where it’s obvious a woman is about to give birth?” asked the chairman of the subcommittee, Delegate Todd Gilbert.   

Even when “she has physical signs that she is about to give birth?” asked Gilbert.  “She’s dilating?”  

“My bill would allow that, yes,” responded Tran.

"When we talk about third-trimester abortions, these are done with the consent of obviously the mother, with the consent of the physicians, more than one physician, by the way," Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam said. "And it's done in cases where there may be severe deformities, there may be a fetus that's non-viable. So in this particular example, if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that's what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother. So I think this was really blown out of proportion."

In other words, the baby would be killed or left to die. Infanticide.

“This is morally repugnant,” Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., said in a statement to National Review. “In just a few years pro-abortion zealots went from ‘safe, legal, and rare’ to ‘keep the newborns comfortable while the doctor debates infanticide.’ I don’t care what party you’re from — if you can’t say that it’s wrong to leave babies to die after birth, get the hell out of public office.”

The Party of Infanticide

The Democrat Party has given up the pretense of not being in favor of baby-killing. This is mind-boggling. They are the party of infanticide.

The Federalist reported:

When asked about the controversial late term abortion bill presented in Virginia’s House of Delegates this week, Governor Ralph Northam said a fully developed child born in the third trimester would be kept alive, but the physician and mother would get to discuss and decide whether to take its life or not. 

“If a mother is in labor…the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and mother,” Northam said on WTOP’s “Ask The Governor” segment this morning. 

The radio host, Julie Carey, did not bother to clarify what he meant by “resuscitated” or whether this meant mother and a doctor could choose to kill a baby after birth, a baby who would have just taken their first breath.

Why mince words? The Democrat Party is the party of legalized murder. There's no stopping them. If they are willing to kill "unwanted" babies, are senior citizens next? Remember ObamaCare "death panels"?
