Why The Push Against Abortions?

Why are some state legislatures putting limits, some very strict limits, on abortions?

Website FiveThirtyEight gives three reasons, and they preface them with:
Republicans have long sought to limit abortion, both at the state and national level. But abortion opponents have stepped up their efforts in 2019, according to advocates on both sides of the issue. Alabama this week enacted a law that bans all abortions except to save a woman’s life. There would be no exceptions for pregnancies caused by incest or rape, and conducting an abortion could result in a prison sentence of up to 99 years. Four other states — Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi and Ohio — have adopted laws that ban abortions after a fetal heartbeat can be detected, which can be as early as six weeks into a pregnancy.
What’s behind this latest push? There have been three important shifts in U.S. politics.
The reasons they give are:
1. Brett Kavanaugh's appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court.
2. The rise of one-party rule states.
3. Republicans aren't worried of a backlash.
But they completely missed one other important development: legalized infanticide.

National Review wrote:
Democrats are increasingly explicit in their support for killing unborn children at any stage of pregnancy — and sometimes even of denying normal medical care to born children.
In New York state, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a law that makes abortion legal, even after the unborn child is viable, so long as the abortionist makes a “reasonable and good-faith judgment” that abortion will protect the pregnant woman’s health. In Rhode Island, Governor Gina Raimondo has pledged to sign legislation that also makes abortion legal after viability to “preserve . . . health.” In Virginia, state legislator Kathy Tran has introduced legislation that would, she has explained, make abortion legal even at term and in the middle of birth.
These stories in the news caused a backlash by people who are totally repelled by infanticide, no matter what excuse is given. Those actions have fired up the anti-abortionists so much that they are scoring anti-abortion legislative wins. In a nutshell: The pro-abortionists simply overstepped. No wonder Republicans aren't worried.

Pro-choice activists are beside themselves over these limitations. But they only have themselves to blame by going into the infanticide extremes. They brought this onto themselves. Eventually, all passed laws will be decided in the Supreme Court, which is what many states passing legislation actually want.

Things are becoming interesting!

All You Needed To See of Today's Hearings

This video clip of Sen. Lindsey Graham is all anyone needs to see of today's hearings of the Senate Judiciary Committee:

Thank You, Lindsey Graham!

In recent years, I have not been a fan of Senator Lindsey Graham. But, after today, Graham has risen a lot in my esteem!

And, just so to leave you laughing...

Democrat Operative Admits Kavanaugh Circus A Scheme To Block All Trump Nominees

The Looney Left Report

This whole circus of women claiming sexual assaults by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is nothing but a conspiracy by the Democrats to block any Supreme Court appointments by President Donald Trump. It's a big ball of fraud.

A Democrat operative even admitted this in an article yesterday in the New York Times:
“Saving the Supreme Court from Trump’s clutches has always involved a very complicated two-step: first, block Kavanaugh, then fight like hell to win back the Senate,” said Brian Fallon, a 2016 campaign adviser to Hillary Clinton who helped start a group called Demand Justice to fight conservative judicial nominations. “If Kavanaugh drops out, we’re halfway there. If Democrats are able to win back the Senate, we’d have a path to blocking Trump from picking any of the archconservatives on his shortlist.”

Judicial Watch Statement on Kavanaugh Allegations

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement in response to the latest efforts to delay Judge Kavanaugh’s Senate confirmation:
Americans should brook no further delay of a full Senate vote on Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.
Let’s be clear: Leftists are trying to blow up the Senate confirmation process with shady smears. There is no legitimate reason that these last-minute allegations can’t be summarily evaluated, and a Judiciary Committee vote taken this week.
Leftist law breaking, rule breaking, violence, and disruption have already marred the public Kavanaugh confirmation hearings. One can only imagine the disruptive show trial Leftists plan with Kavanaugh’s accusers. The Senate should shut this circus down and move the Kavanaugh confirmation to a timely vote.
Will the Senate allow its confirmation process to be turned into a search-and-destroy mission by leftist partisans? The vote to confirm can’t come soon enough. That the Senate hasn’t voted yet is shameful.
It is urgent you let your Senators know how you feel about the Kavanaugh confirmation process. You can reach your Senators at 202-224-3121.

Another Roach Crawls Out and A GOP Backlash May Be Brewing

Another roach has crawled out of the woodwork. It is part of the Democrats' full throttle smear campaign against Brett Kavanaugh.

The timing of this is interesting since the credibility of the first accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, is tanking. So the Democrats, in desperation, brought forth another accuser.

The Washington Times reported:
Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh denied another sexual assault allegation against him on Sunday from a woman who said he harassed her while the two attended Yale University roughly 35 years ago.
Deborah Ramirez, who was contacted by the New Yorker, was reluctant to share her story since she had been drinking heavily at the time of the alleged incident.
But after a few days, she decided to talk to the magazine, which published her claim Sunday alleging Judge Kavanaugh exposed himself to her after drinking with a group of friends in a suite on campus during their 1983-1984 school year.
“I would think an F.B.I. investigation would be warranted,” Ms. Ramirez told the magazine.
Her allegation comes as Democrats have called for an FBI probe into claims made by Christine Blasey Ford, a California professor who came forward last week, alleging Judge Kavanaugh forced himself on her when the two were in high school roughly 36 years ago after drinking at a house party.
“This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen. The people who knew me then know that this did not happen, and have said so. This is a smear, plain and simple,” Judge Kavanaugh said. “I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name — and the reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building — against these last-minute allegations.”

All this may cost the Democrats more support during the upcoming midterm elections. There may be a backlash in the making with more motivated Republicans going to the polls totally pissed off.

According to Rush Limbaugh:
This can’t be said enough: They really believe they’re gonna win the Senate, folks. They believe their polls. They don’t have the slightest idea what a potential backlash they are creating with their behavior here and what they’re doing to Kavanaugh. They haven’t the slightest idea. They have no idea of the rage! They think the Democrats have all the motivation and inspiration, eagerness to vote?
They have no idea what this is doing to Republican turnout. No idea at all. We saw a harbinger of it in a Texas special election last night where a Republican won a Democrat seat that the Democrats have held for 139 years, and the polls did not say this was gonna happen. Democrats think they’re in the process turning Texas blue, and yet this one seat that they’ve held in a district that went heavily for Hillary elected a Republican.
They’re sitting there blind as a bat. They have no concept, they have no sense, because they’re not connected to the American people. They have no idea how their behavior here is revving up Republicans to vote in November like nothing else could! You wait. We’ll see.

For me, I am looking forward to today's Rush Limbaugh Show. It should be fun!

Rush: Will Kavanaugh’s Accuser Show Up at the Hearing?

So Brett Kavanaugh's accuser is not going to appear Monday to testify and she demands that the FBI investigate her allegations before she would consent to do so.

Her attorney says she doesn't have to corroborate the charge. Of course she does! The burden of proof is on her and her client. The alleged charge, sexual assault that took place over 30 years ago by high schoolers is not something the FBI would even get involved in.

This is such a bogus delaying tactic by the Democrats. It stinks to high heaven. Some GOP senators are falling for it, which makes this even more outrageous.

Here's what El Rushbo had to say about this yesterday:
Okay. So after all this, Christine Blasey Ford is not gonna show up for the hearing? She hasn’t accepted the invitation to show up for the hearing — and yet they moved it? They rescheduled. It was supposed to be Thursday, the vote. They canceled the vote, they moved the vote — well, they delayed it — so that they could have this hearing with Christine Blasey Ford and Kavanaugh, and she hadn’t even accepted the invitation to show up, and now her lawyer is saying it’s not her job to corroborate her story
She’s not the one that has to corroborate her story? (summarized) “No, no, no, no! She’s making the allegation. So she doesn’t have to corroborate anything. It needs to be investigated.” This is no different than Harry Reid saying, “I have a friend that told me that Mitt Romney hasn’t paid his taxes in 10 years,” and the media says to Harry Reid, “What’s your evidence?” And Harry Reid says, “Don’t ask me! You need to go talk to Romney. Romney’s the guy hadn’t paid his taxes in 10 years.”
And the media said, “Oh, yeah! Okay.” So they all ran off and start badgering Romney about why he hadn’t paid his taxes in 10 years. This is exactly what this is!
This lawyer who, by the way… Katz is her name. She is a Democrat activist. She is plainly saying it’s not her job to corroborate her story. Her efforts, her legal efforts are funded by George Soros. There is no doubt what this is. We’ve been here before. How in the world can you say that the accuser doesn’t have to corroborate anything? “Debra Katz, the attorney for the woman accusing Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, said that it is not her client’s job to corroborate her claims.
“Katz said on CNN on Monday that investigators should be responsible for proving Christine Blasey Ford’s claim that Kavanaugh held her down and drunkenly groped her while at a party in high school.” So she can make this claim. She doesn’t have to prove it. She doesn’t have to have any evidence. The investigators have to track it down and prove it. But now the Democrats are saying, “Wait a minute. We shouldn’t be investigating this.” Like Kamala Harris, Kamala Harris said, “We shouldn’t be investigating this. The FBI should.”
You know, this woman, Kamala Harris… These people are so dense. Does she not know the FBI does not investigate these kinds of crimes? The FBI does not investigate local crimes, high school drunken party crimes. The FBI doesn’t investigate those. But then again that’s not what this is about. This is about delaying everything so Kavanaugh does not get on the court and the Republicans are playing right along with this.

This is all a bunch of B.S.!

Kavanaugh's Accuser Hasn't Agreed To Appear Before The Senate

It appears that Christine Brasley Ford may not appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify about her accusations against Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Reuters reported:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A Republican U.S. Senate committee chairman said on Tuesday the woman who has accused President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault decades ago has not yet agreed to appear at a public hearing planned for Monday.
Senator Chuck Grassley said Christine Blasey Ford, a university professor in California whose allegations have put Kavanaugh’s once-safe nomination in serious jeopardy, has not responded to attempts by the Judiciary Committee, which oversees the confirmation process, to contact her.

If someone is willing to ruin someone's reputation and career by making an accusation such as this, she should be willing to provide testimony before the public. What kind of person is it who is willing to stoop so low in making allegations against someone and then not be willing to testify to same?

Don't give me excuses that she was a victim and is traumatized, this allegedly happened over 30 years ago! Bullshit!

Ford is a leftist political activist who can't claim ignorance of what she faces after making an allegation.

As Rush Limbaugh said, "This is injustice on steroids!"

Rush Limbaugh: An Orchestrated Smear of Brett Kavanaugh

Image may contain: 1 person, sitting, meme and text

First it was Anita Hill against Clarence Thomas. Now it is Christine Blasey Ford against Brett Kavanaugh. The Democrat playbook is precisely the same: Smear and Ruin.

Rush Limbaugh laid it all out:
We have just standard, ordinary, everyday operational political strategy going on here combined with an attempt yet again by the left to destroy a decent person and his family. And that would be Brett Kavanaugh. The Democrats don’t trust to be able to win on politics alone — and it’s not just Kavanaugh. They need to destroy anybody credible who opposes them. They need to ruin them. As such, I don’t think decent people quite know how to deal with this. Decent people don’t spend their day strategizing like this.
And, as such, they don’t end up being prepared for it. By definition, decent people are not prepared for this kind of thing. Not that they’re ignorant to it. It’s just they don’t go through each and every day studying and prepping on how to get ready for the next smear job from the Democrat Party.
This woman apparently sends the letter all on her own. But look, it all boils down to just what do we want to believe about the left? And the idea that any of this is spontaneous needs to be rejected.
None of it is. The Democrats have been holding this. They’ve been holding it for use at precisely this time, and I’m not sure I believe that Christine Blasey Ford never wanted to be made known. I don’t believe she didn’t want to go public. I don’t believe that she sent a letter to Feinstein and then said, “Please do not do anything with this. Please do not forward this to the FBI. Please do not name me.” Why send it? I don’t believe any of this.
There’s no statute of limitations. If somebody claimed that Kavanaugh did whatever he did in kindergarten, the Democrats would be doing the same thing with it today as they’re doing with this.

Senate Showdown: Kavanaugh vs. Ford Coming Monday

It is shaping up to be a major showdown before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday between Supreme Court nominee and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford.

According to the Daily Mail (U.K.):
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford will go head-to-head in testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee next Monday.
The hearing sets up a potential show down on Capitol Hill, the likes of which have not been seen since Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill testified in 1991 after she accused him of sexual harassment. Thomas was ultimately confirmed after a bitter and bruising battle.
But the Kavanaugh-Ford hearing comes more than 25 years later, amid the #metoo movement, and when women have been energized after the election of Donald Trump as president.
Republicans were under heavy political pressure - including some from members of their own party - to hold a public hearing and they finally caved on the issue Monday evening.
In a related story, Ford deleted all of her social media accounts. Apparently, she has a lot to hide.

Evidence Against Christine Blasey Ford Mounts

Evidence against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's accuser Christine Blasey Ford is mounting.

Her story stinks worse than a seafood restaurant. This is all a bunch of B.S.

First, she has been a leftist activist opposing President Trump's immigration policies.

From Heavy.com:
Christine Ford – whose full name is Christine Blasey Ford – signed a letter with other health professionals demanding that President Donald Trump stop his controversial policy on family separations at the border. She signed the letter as Christine Blasey, and it was used as an exhibit in an ACLU lawsuit against the Trump administration.
Second, she also marched wearing a knitted "brain cap" to a science march that was designed to look like the pink pussy hats to protest against President Trump.

Third, it appears that she has a personal vendetta against Brett Kavanaugh.

Kurt Schlichter posted on Twitter the following:
I checked the Montgomery County docket. Brett Kavanaugh's mother was the judge on a house foreclosure case that appears to be the accuser's parents.
I don't buy any of it.

Even Professor Ford's students don't like her.

From David Gold:
Christine Ford "Rate My Professor" quotes from her students:
"dark personality"
"avoid any interaction with this person"
"has something wrong with her"
"lacks appropriate filters"
"I am honestly scared of her"
"she is exact opposite of what she teaches"

Whatever respect for Senator Dianne Feinstein I may have had is completely gone after her little last minute stunt.

Judge Kavanaugh has spoken out:
This is a completely false allegation. I have never done anything like what the accuser describes—to her or to anyone. Because this never happened, I had no idea who was making this accusation until she identified herself yesterday.
