19,000 Sign Petition To Impeach Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham

Above, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.

The honeymoon for New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is over, not that it ever began.

Grisham has already ticked off a number of New Mexico citizens in her first week in office, including people who want border security and support the Second Amendment.

A petition for Grisham's impeachment has been started and already 19,000 signatures have been gathered. This is a significant number considering the population of New Mexico.

According to KRQE:
SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) - The Governor's decision to withdraw National Guard troops from New Mexico's southern border last week is now getting calls for her impeachment. A Ruidoso man has started a petition asking state lawmakers to begin the process to remove her from office.
In just four days, this petition has seen over 19,000 people sign it.
The petition on Change.org was created by John Daniel from Ruidoso. He's asking the state's House of Representatives, particularly with Rep. Zach Cook who represents his district, to begin the impeachment process.

Good luck with that, will never happen, Governor Grisham will actually do some good for New Mexico, unlike pizza party Martinez.

Actually, Martinez was given an "A" as a fiscally responsible governor by the CATO Institute:

The U.S. economy is in its 10th year of economic expansion, and state government budgets are benefiting from a solid growth in tax revenues. State general fund revenues have grown 40 percent since 2010. Many of the nation’s governors have used the growing revenues to expand spending programs, whereas others have pursued reductions in taxes.

That is the backdrop to this year’s 14th biennial fiscal report card on the governors, which examines state budget actions since 2016. It uses statistical data to grade the governors on their taxing and spending records — governors who have cut taxes and spending the most receive the highest grades, whereas those who have increased taxes and spending the most receive the lowest grades.

Five governors were awarded an A on this report: Susana Martinez of New Mexico, Henry McMaster of South Carolina, Doug Burgum of North Dakota, Paul LePage of Maine, and Greg Abbott of Texas. Eight governors were awarded an F: Roy Cooper of North Carolina, John Bel Edwards of Louisiana, Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania, Jim Justice of West Virginia, Dennis Daugaard of South Dakota, David Ige of Hawaii, Kate Brown of Oregon, and Jay Inslee of Washington.

We need to impeach her immediacy before she does to our state what the radical liberals did to California.
