A Little Break

Above, the mesas yesterday. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Although it's going to be a cold day today (around 30°), at least we'll be getting a break in the snow.

According to the National Weather Service, snow showers will be returning to Jamestown tomorrow that could add about 1-2 inches of accumulation. Gallup received five inches of snow during the past several days.

But, I am prepared with plenty of provisions (food, etc.) so I don't have to venture out for any grocery shopping.

Here's what the National Weather Service forecasts for the area:

Thursday
Snow showers likely, mainly after 11am. Some thunder is also possible. Cloudy, with a high near 34. South wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Thursday Night
Snow showers. Low around 24. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Friday
Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 31. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
