Another New Mexico county has declared itself a "Second Amendment Sanctuary County".
This time, it's Union County.
KFDA NewsChannel 10 in Amarillo, Texas reported:
AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Three New Mexico counties have passed resolutions to become ‘Second Amendment Sanctuary Counties’, protesting recent gun control legislation made by the state.
Union, Quay and Curry counties are now considered Second Amendment Sanctuary Counties under a resolution approved by commissioners.
This comes in response to the several gun control bills that are in the New Mexico legislature right now, including one that would expand background checks to most private gun sales.
The New Mexico Sheriff’s Association said the laws would be unenforceable.A big, hearty (since today is Valentine's Day) to the New Mexico sheriffs who are leading the battle to protect our constitutional rights. They deserve our full support!
