Since it had been about a month since I took a drive up in Mesa Ridge Ranch, the new subdivision next to ours, I took the Jeep up Maverick Road for a look at how things were progressing.
The first home now has a deck added to it for nice views of the mesas across the valley.

The second home, a triple-wide, is now completed and other things are being done to make it habitable. I noticed a power pole and box, so now the home should have electricity. It is probably on the best lot of the subdivision with its commanding views of Cibola National Forest.
Aside from these two lots, I saw no other activity in the subdivision.
