The Monsoon Isn't Quite Over Yet

Right now, it is raining in Jamestown, New Mexico.

The National Weather Service forecast scattered thundershowers this evening, mainly before midnight. So it now appears we aren't over with monsoon weather. Which is fine with me. It has been a little on the dry side during the past week. 

The National Weather Service posted this on its main page:

Over the Four Corners region, flash, urban, and small stream flooding is possible through the week due to heavy rainfall, especially around portions of southwest Colorado.

And, for Jamestown:

Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 76. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
