Now that we're in a new year and a new month, it is time to take a look at how the U.S. dollar is faring against the Japanese yen in Tokyo trading.
According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, Jan. 6 (Jiji Press)--The dollar advanced to around 134.20 yen in Tokyo trading Friday, aided by a news report suggesting that the Bank of Japan will not rush to revise its current monetary easing policy.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 134.21-23 yen, up from 132.47-48 yen at the same time Thursday.
