The stuff that now passes as "music", particularly rock 'n roll, leaves me cold. So, to start off the week, here's a video of a classic rock artist.
To start off the week, we have the Raspberries, a pop group from the early 1970s. The most notable member was Eric Carmen.
From Wikipedia:
The Raspberries were an American pop rock band formed in 1970 from Cleveland, Ohio. They had a run of success in the early 1970s music scene with their pop rock sound, which AllMusic later described as featuring "exquisitely crafted melodies and achingly gorgeous harmonies.
The group's "classic" lineup consisted of Eric Carmen (vocalist/guitarist/bassist/pianist), Wally Bryson (guitarist), Dave Smalley (guitarist/bassist) and Jim Bonfanti (drummer) . Their best known songs include "Go All the Way", "Let's Pretend", "I Wanna Be with You", "Tonight", and "Overnight Sensation (Hit Record)".
For this week's selection, we have the studio version of "Go All The Way" from 1972 and a live version from 2007 showing that the band hadn't lost their touch.
