It's Going To Be Cold and Windy Tonight

Above, the GOCO Beast Barn. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Since it is expected to get below freezing tonight, I headed over to the GOCO Beast Barn to flip on the holding tank heaters on The Beast. Prior to last weekend's clamp-out in Arizona, I had empty holding tanks so there'd be nothing in them to freeze. After the weekend, it's a different story.

It looks like I'll be doing the same for the next few days. At least I don't have to deal with the blizzards in the midwest that's currently hitting.

It is windy out here and it only got up to around 42° here in Jamestown, New Mexico.

According to the National Weather Service, here's the forecast:

Tonight
A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Thursday
Partly sunny, with a high near 45. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 25 mph.
Thursday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Northwest wind 15 to 20 mph becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the evening.
Friday
A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.
Friday Night
A chance of rain and snow showers before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Saturday
