Tokyo Godzilla Statues

For many westerners of the baby-boomer generation and beyond, their first exposure to Japanese pop-culture was due to Godzilla. To them, Tokyo is synonymous with the King of the Monsters.

In 2010, I published The Monster Movie Fan's Guide To Japan (it is still available, for ordering information, go here). It is a guide to kaiju locations and attractions.

Tokyo Cheapo has posted an article on Tokyo's Godzilla statues and some locations.

They begin it with:
