Rain and Thunderstorms?

Tonight's and tomorrow's weather may get a little interesting.

Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to be moving into the area. But at least is isn't snow and we can use the water since our drinking water comes from the San Andrees Aquifer.

If we get thunderstorms, maybe we'll get a good light show.

The forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today
Partly sunny, with a high near 61. Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph.
Tonight
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday
Scattered showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. Blustery, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
