The pressure is on the New Mexico State Senate to defeat the "red flag" bill (SB5) that passed last night in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
It is likely that the bill will be up for a full senate vote tomorrow.

just got off the phone with Senator Clemente Sanchez / democrat.... we personally talked for about 10 minutes, he told me directly he is absolutely opposed to sb5 and is gotten in trouble with the leadership for his stance. , he is trying to encourage other Democrat Senators to oppose it. He said as it stands it is 21-21 vote..
Keep up the pressure keep calling Democratic leaders. Let them know that they need to stop this. They can be turned we can stop this.
Give him a call. Let him know you support him.These Democrat senators who are still on the fence should be reminded, politely, that they work for US, not their party leaders.
Contact these senators and urge a NO vote on SB5:
