Four Corners To Get Snow

Above, home a year ago today. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

"A storm bringing snow to the Four Corners states Sunday will also shift heavy rain and some thunderstorms into the south-central U.S. and mid-Mississippi River Valley into Monday."
                                                                                                - National Weather Service, 2/22/20

It has been raining pretty much all day and evening. Tonight, it is expected to change into snow showers around 2:00 in the morning.

This will be interesting. Our monthly dinner at Gallup historian Martin Link's is tomorrow night and I have to pick up some dinner rolls. Hopefully, there will be a respite in precipitation so I can drive into Gallup to get them and back.

The Four Corners area is in need of precipitation as it has been below normal for quite some time.

The National Weather Service forecast:

Tonight
Rain showers before 2am, then snow showers likely. Low around 31. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday
Snow showers likely before 11am, then scattered rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. West wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
