While digging around in boxes in my closet looking for a scrapbook of newspaper clippings (which I didn't find, so I'll check in the garage), I found one thing I had been looking for: a metal box containing all of my 1970s and 1980s 35mm negatives.
Another thing I found was a January 28, 1972 issue of Life Magazine featuring John Wayne on the cover and, inside, a photo story from the time he was making The Cowboys. I was surprised I still had it, but there it was in pretty good condition.
I might just go and have it framed. Truly a collectible!
