Monument Valley Tribal Park straddles the border of Arizona and Utah and is in the Navajo Nation.
It is best known for movie location filming of classic westerns such as Stagecoach, She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, My Darling Clementine, The Seachers and others.

There’s good news and bad news if you’re mulling over a quick trip west to Monument Valley.
The bad news: The Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park composes the bulk of Monument Valley but, as of June 1, is closed until further notice due to COVID, according to the tribe’s website.
The good news: One of Monument Valley’s most iconic scenes lies outside the park and is easy to find and to photograph.
