Now that we're in a new month, it is time to take a little peek to see how the U.S. dollar is faring against the Japanese yen in Tokyo trading (bear in mind that Japan has not as yet reopened to foreign tourism).
According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, June 1 (Jiji Press)--The dollar was easier around 109.50 yen in late Tokyo trading Tuesday after trimming losses in the afternoon.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 109.48-109.48 yen, down from 109.72-109.76 yen at the same time Monday.
