Over the years, I have visited volcanoes in the United States. Some, like Lassen Peak in Northern California and Crater Lake in Oregon, are national parks.

There are others around the world that people can visit and TravelAwaits lists seven of them, which includes Kilauea on the Big Island of Hawaii at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. I flew over that one in a helicopter in 2016.
