RVing and Medical Care

The closest thing to having to find medical care I've had while RVing was when I had a heart attack in Wells, Nevada three years ago.

I was there for a car rally and show with Mitch Geriminsky when the attack struck me at a restaurant. I was flown by a medical helicopter to the St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho where I had two stents put into a coronary artery.

The RV didn't play into the medical emergency, except Mitch was able to drive the motorhome up to Twin Falls and stay at the medical center's RV parking area that had hook-ups while I was hospitalized for three days.

Your local surgeon may have done the procedure 20 times, but a surgeon in a large medical center may have done it thousands of times. A surgeon at a specialty clinic may treat professional athletes, and their career depends on a successful outcome. Why not ensure that you have a better outcome by combining medical care and RVing?
