With people buying and renting RVs in record numbers, it should not come as a surprise that campgrounds and RV parks with full hook-ups are booked solid. So all one can do in these circumstances is to dry camp somewhere.
In that case, there are some steps needed to be taken in preparation and RV Travel has an article on what to do.
