40% Chance of Rain Tonight

Not much has changed in regards to the weather forecast for Jamestown, New Mexico for Christmas weekend.

A mix of rain and snow showers are still in the forecast by the National Weather Service. Precipitation may begin tonight (40% chance).

The current forecast:

 Today

Partly sunny, with a high near 52. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight
A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Friday
Showers. High near 44. Breezy, with a southwest wind around 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Friday Night
Rain showers likely before 11pm, then a chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 31. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Christmas Day
A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
