At long last, we're getting some snowfall in Jamestown, New Mexico.
Although we got a tiny bit in October, it was barely enough to even mention. But this is the most significant amount this season.
This snow won't last long on the ground unless it gets colder. It is around 35° outside now and windy.
According to the National Weather Service:
Overnight
Rain and snow showers. Low around 36. West wind around 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Friday
Rain and snow showers likely before 8am, then a chance of snow showers between 8am and 11am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 28 by 5pm. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
