Seattle, Washington received a lot of bad publicity in recently over last year's riots, the homeless people trashing the city and the liberal politicians who encouraged it all. I visited Seattle back in 2005 and it was okay back then.

Some say that Seattle now is "safe" to visit, provided one sticks to lighted areas. That's sure a ringing endorsement!

However, Seattle does have some things to do and enjoy. Travel + Leisure posted an article on 24 of them.

They did miss a couple of things I visited back in 2005: the Science Fiction Museum and the Experience Music Project (it is now the Museum of Pop Culture).
