Rain and Snow Showers Possible Christmas Day

It looks like we have a little more than a slight chance of a White Christmas on Christmas Day.

The National Weather Service gives a 30% chance of rain and snow showers in the Jamestown, New Mexico area.

But, the chances are higher for precipitation on Christmas Eve. It is pegged at 60%,

Here's the forecast for the coming days:

Mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Light southwest wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Tonight
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
Thursday
A 20 percent chance of showers before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
Thursday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph.
Friday
Showers likely, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 46. Breezy, with a southwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34.
Christmas Day
A chance of rain and snow showers before 11am, then a chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 44. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
