91° Today and Possible Thunderstorms Saturday

Above, The Beast in the GOCO Beast Barn yesterday. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

It looks like a repeat of yesterday's high temperature in Jamestown, New Mexico today.

The National Weather Service forecasts a high of 91° today, same as yesterday.

The interesting thing to keep watch for is the forecast for thunderstorms on Saturday. Little or no rain is expected.

After all the cold and windy weather we were having, I am actually glad it is getting warmer. I have to hook up my swamp cooler today.

The forecast:

Today
Sunny, with a high near 91. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the morning.
Tonight
Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.
Saturday
Isolated thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Light and variable wind becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the morning. Little or no precipitation expected.
