Lions Club Rodeo: Rain or Shine

Let's see.

Today and tomorrow evenings the Lions Club Rodeo will be held at Red Rock Park near Gallup.

Thunderstorms are expected to roll in this afternoon and will continue through tomorrow night. Today's precipitation chances are 70% and tomorrow's is 80%. It looks like I'll have to bring an umbrella whichever day I'll be going. Monsoon season has arrived.

Chances are, I'll go to the rodeo this evening. It is my understanding that rodeos are held rain or shine.

This'll certainly be interesting.

According to the National Weather Service:

 Overnight

A slight chance of sprinkles. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind around 10 mph.
Friday
Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 3pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Increasing clouds, with a high near 85. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Friday Night
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday
