We're in a new month, so it's time to see how the U.S. dollar is performing in Tokyo foreign exchange trading.
Now is a good time to buy flight tickets (hopefully one already has a passport) and head over to Japan for a vacation.
The dollar is performing well against the Japanese yen, which means one gets more yen for the buck.
According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, March 31 (Jiji Press)--The dollar exceeded 133.00 yen in Tokyo trading Friday, buoyed by real demand-backed purchases.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 133.13-13 yen, up from 132.41-43 yen at the same time Thursday.
