Now that the past snows have melted away and the ground is drying out, we may get rain or snow showers tomorrow morning through Friday.
We can use the moisture for the plants and trees.
According to the National Weather Service, the forecast for Jamestown, New Mexico:
Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 27. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
Thursday
A chance of snow showers before 9am, then a chance of rain showers. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. West wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Thursday Night
A chance of rain and snow showers before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Friday
A chance of rain and snow showers after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 46. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Friday Night
A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 8pm, then a slight chance of snow showers between 8pm and 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. North wind around 5 mph becoming southeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
