Yesterday's storm dumped almost 2" of snow on Jamestown, New Mexico in the afternoon.
It was weird that the outside temperature was at 41°, but we had mini-blizzards come down with large snowflakes. At first, the snow would just melt as soon as it hit the ground. As the temperature dropped at bit, we did get a layer on the ground for a while. But that melted away by evening. At least the plants and trees got some watering.
I was going to go to Gallup for my Friday night dinner, but I decided not to chance it.
