Back around 1974 or so, my parents rented a travel trailer for a trip to Mesa Verde National Park. I don't remember where they rented it from, but it was a 16' travel trailer that we pulled with our 1968 Buick LeSabre and the rental company was a small one.
Since then, there are many nationwide companies who rent trailers and motorhomes. RV Life has posted an article on how to rent an RV.
