Yellowstone: June Visits Up 8% From Last Year

If one wants to visit Yellowstone National Park, they should do so during the off-season.

There's a very good reason for this. The park is very crowded during the summer months of June, July and August. In fact, the park is seeing more visitors this year than last year.

NBC Montana reported:

MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS, WY — Yellowstone National Park hosted 914,612 recreation visits in June 2024, up 8% from June 2023.

The park has hosted 1,633,739 visitors this year, which is up 9% from 1,492,843 in 2023.

The busiest time to visit the park is June, July and August.
