It has been a while since I took at look at how silver is doing. The spot price of silver is up this morning.
According to an article in USA Today:

As of Aug. 7, 2026, at 8:05 a.m. ET, the spot price of silver was $64.22 per ounce, according to the latest market data. That's up 3.35%, a gain of $2.08 from the previous close of $62.14.
One year ago, silver traded at $37.87 per ounce, meaning prices have risen 69.59% over the past 12 months.
