Now that we're in springtime, the weather during the day is warmer and RV owners are more motivated for going outside to tinker with their RV.

DIY Guide To RV Awning Replacement

Three years ago, I had the awning fabric replaced due a small tear that got worse over the years. 

Since I was a couple of months from having two stents placed in a coronary artery, I couldn't replace it myself even if I was mechanically inclined. So I took it to the RV dealer and had it replaced there.
