When one reaches their senior years, keeping in good shape for walking national park trails is essential for fully enjoying the park.
I have always been a walker, but since my 60s, walking hiking trails have become a little more difficult. That's where a new article in TheTravel comes in.
It lists six U.S. national parks with the best trails for seniors. The most recent walk for me was to Hermit's Rest at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I wasn't a long trail and relatively easy.

I also did walk the trail to Lower Yosemite Falls back in 2016. That wasn't too bad either, although longer (about a mile). I was 62 at the time. My only issue was developing leg cramping during the walk.
