Here's an interesting factoid.
I spotted it in today's RV Travel Sunday Newsletter and it is on the American bison.
Here it is:
FACTOID: A full-grown American bison can weigh more than 2,000 pounds, yet these massive animals can run at speeds of around 35 mph. Never let their lumbering walk fool you!
We saw a good example of that when a Yellowstone bison attacked an elderly man and tossed him into the air. The video of the attack went viral in July.

It is recommended to keep a safe distance from bison of at least 25 yards.
