A little while ago, I checked the National Weather Service for the weekend forecast for the Jamestown, New Mexico area and this is what was reported:
Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 62. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday NightA 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39.
Sunday A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 56. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Sunday Night A chance of rain showers before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Snow showers? Looks like we may be skipping autumn here.
